This spring, we had two soccer players in the family! Every Thursday afternoon, we'd head to Lincoln Glen Park for soccer. Dillon had his class with Quade, and I did the Mommy-n-me class with Lucie. Two things were sure: she LOVED it (and loved saying she had soccer class) and actually really can kick the ball pretty well! However, she usually tired out by the end of the class (which was late in, and sometimes in the heat of, the day), and despite Coach's best intentions, the games were a little abstract for her.
Dillon, for his part, did much better than last year, and also is showing some amazing athletic skill, which is not necessarily surprising for him, but still amazing to see in him!!! He is usually out in front kicking the ball, or playing Goalie.
After soccer class, we all play at the park for about 30-45 minutes, usually on the swings!
